Thanksgiving brings opportunities to gather with family and friends across the Mid-Willamette Valley. Around Corvallis, Monroe, and the surrounding wine country, local wineries are preparing seasonal open houses, holiday celebrations, and opportunities to support their communities.

For Thanksgiving 2026, the weekend before the holiday, November 19–22, offers several special winery events, while November 27–29 includes public celebrations that are especially convenient for visitors without wine club memberships.

There is also an earlier opportunity to celebrate close to home. On November 8, the Corvallis Spirits Festival brings Oregon craft beverage producers together for a fundraiser benefiting veterans and their families. Learn more about the event here.

Whether you're welcoming guests or planning a local outing, here's what to know about the upcoming events and the wineries worth exploring closer to Corvallis.

Corvallis Spirits Festival: A Local Celebration Before Thanksgiving

Before the Thanksgiving winery celebrations begin, Corvallis has another opportunity to gather and support the community.

On Sunday, November 8, 4 Spirits Distillery is hosting the Corvallis Spirits Festival, bringing together Oregon craft beverage producers for an afternoon of tastings, food, entertainment, and fundraising.

The event benefits the 4 Spirits Foundation, which supports veterans, active military members, and their families.

Date: Sunday, November 8, 2026

Time: Noon–7 p.m.

Location: 4 Spirits Distillery, 3405 SW Deschutes Street, Corvallis

Although it isn't a traditional winery open house, the festival offers a chance to enjoy local craft beverages while supporting a community cause close to home.

For admission information and event details, visit the Corvallis Spirits Festival listing on Visit Corvallis.

Wetzel Estate Winery in Dallas is hosting its Holiday Market on November 21–22, from noon to 5 p.m., featuring local vendors, holiday gifts, and wine.

Which Wineries Are Open Thanksgiving Weekend?

For visitors without wine club memberships, November 27–29 offers two scheduled public winery celebrations.

Broadley Vineyards: Thanksgiving Weekend Open House

Broadley's public open house runs Friday through Sunday, November 27–29, from 1 to 5 p.m.

Visitors can enjoy Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Gamay Noir, Rosé, and Pinot Gris, with small bites paired to the wines.

Holiday discounts are planned throughout the weekend.

No reservation is required, and everyone is welcome. The published 2026 event does not specify an admission fee.

Airlie Winery: 40th Anniversary Thanksgiving Celebration

Airlie Winery is celebrating its 40th anniversary on November 21–22 and again November 27–29, from noon to 5 p.m.

The celebration includes complimentary appetizers, holiday gift packages, and wine discounts.

Admission is $20, with $5 from each fee donated to local food banks.

Because Airlie is hosting celebrations on both weekends, visitors have flexibility when planning around Thanksgiving gatherings.

Exploring Wineries Closer to Corvallis and Philomath

Not every local winery has announced a special Thanksgiving event, but there are still several places worth exploring closer to Corvallis and Philomath.

Harris Bridge Vineyard, near Philomath, offers a distinctive selection that includes vermouth, aperitifs, dessert wines, and brandy.

Lumos Wine Company, also near Philomath, is known for wines made from organically grown grapes and a tasting setting overlooking the surrounding countryside.

Tyee Wine Cellars, south of Corvallis, offers estate-grown wines and a vineyard setting on a longstanding family farm.

Cardwell Hill Cellars and Compton Family Wines are additional options for exploring the Philomath area.

These are local winery recommendations, not confirmed Thanksgiving weekend events. Holiday hours can differ from normal schedules, so check each winery's current calendar before visiting.

For a broader look at nearby options, Visit Corvallis maintains a directory of local wineries and tasting rooms, including places to explore throughout Corvallis, Philomath, and Benton County.

Thanksgiving Winery Events That Give Back to the Community

Thanksgiving is also a season of generosity, and two local wineries are incorporating charitable giving into their anniversary celebrations.

Airlie Winery: Supporting Local Food Banks

Airlie Winery is celebrating 40 years in 2026.

For both its Pre-Thanksgiving Celebration and Thanksgiving Weekend Celebration, $5 from each $20 admission fee will be donated to local food banks.

It's a direct contribution connected to each paid admission, allowing visitors to support local food assistance while enjoying the anniversary events.

Broadley Vineyards: Supporting South Benton County

Broadley is also celebrating 40 years of winemaking with seasonal gatherings that benefit organizations serving South Benton County.

November 21–22: South Benton County Food Pantry

During the members' Fall Club Open House, Broadley is collecting nonperishable food donations for the South Benton County Food Pantry.

For every two items donated, participants receive one entry into a drawing for a 3.0-liter bottle of Pinot Noir.

November 27–29: South Benton Resource Center

During the public Thanksgiving Weekend Open House, Broadley is collecting nonperishable food and household items for the South Benton Resource Center.

Every two donated items earn one drawing entry for a large-format bottle of Pinot Noir. The winner will be contacted during the first week of December.

These contributions support organizations that serve people in the surrounding communities.

Which Thanksgiving Winery Weekend Should You Choose?

The better weekend depends on the experience you're looking for.

For wine club members: November 21–22 includes Broadley's exclusive open house and several other seasonal winery events.

For holiday shopping: November 19 offers West Hills Vineyards' Holiday House Sip & Shop Market, while November 21–22 brings Wetzel Estate's Holiday Market.

For visiting family and friends without wine club memberships: November 27–29 offers public celebrations at Broadley and Airlie.

For exploring wine country beyond the holiday: Regular tasting room visits and the Heart of Willamette Wine Passport provide options for another time.

The Heart of Willamette Wine Passport

The 2026 Heart of Willamette Wine Passport is listed at $45 individually or two for $80.

It includes offers at 19 participating locations and is valid through December 31, 2026.

For residents and visitors who enjoy discovering smaller wineries, the passport offers another reason to explore the area after Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving in the Mid-Willamette Valley: A Place to Call Home

Thanksgiving has a way of reminding us what makes a place feel like home.

Across the Mid-Willamette Valley, from Corvallis and Philomath to Albany, Lebanon, and the smaller communities in between, seasonal gatherings give us opportunities to reconnect with neighbors, welcome family and friends, and enjoy the places around us.

The winery celebrations are just one example of the traditions that bring our communities together. Sometimes, it's these familiar places and shared experiences that remind us why we appreciate calling this part of Oregon home.

If you're getting to know the Mid-Willamette Valley or have questions about living in one of its communities, I'd be happy to hear from you.

Wishing you and your family a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving.
